Vintage Star Wars die cast toys

Kenner, a subsidiary of General Mills, produced their die cast line of Star Wars toys between 1978 and 1980. The range featured 11 ships/vehicles but was cancelled following the release of The Empire Strikes Back. The toys were not compatible with the 3 and 3/4" range of action figures and never reached the same level of of popularity.

Several overseas toy manufacturers were granted license to sell the die cast range of toys, but most only produced the first three ships of Series 1.

Details of all known Kenner cardbacks can be found on the 'Carback variation' page http://www.vintagestarwarsdiecast.co.uk/module-overview/module-overview/cardback-variations

The full range of 11 Kenner ships can be seen below on their debut cards.
